Obituary of Ethel-M. Murphy

NORTH ALBANY Ethel Mae Clark Murphy, entered into eternal life Saturday, November 22, 2003. Born in Cohoes, she was a lifelong area resident. She had been employed for many years as a clerk for the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. Daughter of the late Garfield and Alice Crooks Clark. Beloved wife of David Hamilton Murphy, Sr.; loving mother of David H. Murphy, Jr. of Denver. Colo., William T. Murphy and his wife Mary of Cohoes, John J. Murphy and his wife Gabe of Menands, Brian R. Murphy of North Albany and Karen Ann Murphy of Albany; sister of Marilyn Gardy of Colonie and the late George W. Clark and Marjorie Smith; cherished grandmother of William T., Jr., Kevin M., Brendan P. and Michael J. Murphy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights, Albany (opposite the Philip Livingston School on Northern Blvd.) Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
