ETHEL LEEWILLIAMS, 84Polk General Hospital BARTOW - Ethel Lee Williams, age 84 (11/3/24), of Bartow, FL, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL of heart failure. Mrs. Williams was employed by Polk General Hospital as a Ultra Sound Technician and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Bartow, Fl. She was the daughter of the late Richard Christie and the late Rosa Christie. She is survived by two daughters: Rose C. Broome, League City, TX, Priscilla L. Williams, Glendale, AZ, four sons: Rey Oliver, Valrico, FL, Leonard Oliver, Valrico, FL, Lewis Williams, Jr., Bartow, FL, Rev. Clarence Williams, St. Petersburg, FL,13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2009. Funeral service will be at St. James AME Church at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2009. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL.
