Ethel Lee Brown McDonaldDecaturFuneral service for Mrs. Ethel Lee Brown McDonald will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Westside M.B. Church with District Elder Jonathan Pulliam officiating and interment in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. Ethel Lee Brown McDonald was born June 23, 1935, in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Willis Brown III and Louise Boulden Brown. She was united in Holy Matrimony on May 21, 1953, to the late Olonzo McDonald, Sr. of Decatur. She confessed a Hope in Christ at an early age at Springhill M.B. Church and later united with the Apostolic Church of God Inc. She was a retiree of Wayne Farms with 20+ years of service.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Ralph Brown; and three grandchildren, Monica Wiggins, Kenton Wiggins, and Charles Wiggins, Jr.She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Diane M. (Charles, Sr.) Wiggins, Sharon E. (Lorenzo, Sr.) Johnson, Mable R. Campbell all of Decatur; two sons, Olonzo McDonald, Jr. of Laurel, MD and Larry D. (Mary Tina) McDonald of Decatur; grandchildren, Tiffany D., Paula P., Kristy S. and Brandon Wiggins, Lorenzo Jr. (Renada), Desmond O. and Derrick R. Johnson, Willie B. Campbell and Kenithe Buford; great-grandchildren, Kobe Gray and Kadence Chatman; eight sisters, Lillie P. Scott of Indianapolis, IN, Ella Mae (Rev. Leo) Owens of Hillsboro, Florence Jones of Louisville, KY, Mattie (Wilbert) Garth of Dallas, TX, Lucille (Rev. Willie) Owens of Huntsville, Laura Martin, Wylodene (Kenneth) Reedus and Delois Brown of Decatur; three brothers, Jessie Brown of Goodlettsville, TN, Fedor (Evelina) Brown of Decatur, Billy W. (Leebirda) Brown of Hartselle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Pallbearers will be Willie Ford, Jerry Trice, Paul Stevens, Sam Miles, Ernest Ratliff and Curtis Fletcher.
