Ethel L. Williams, of 111 Chesterfield Road, formerly of Laurens, died Feb. 15, 2002, at her home. Survivors: Daughter, Tina Wrice and grandson, Marcus Wrice, both of the home; son John Williams of New Jersey; siblings, Lorene Stenhouse and Helen Shumate of Fountain Inn, Naomi Mackey of New York, James Rice of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Duncan Creek Baptist Church in Clinton, with visitation at the church from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Poplar Springs AME Church Cemetery in Laurens.
