DAVIDSON, Ethel Esther Peacefully at her home surrounded by such love and beauty, Ethel passed from earth-life on Thursday, July 27th, 2006 in her 96th year. Beloved wife for 61 years of the late George Davidson and dear mother of Donna (Cliff Neudorf), Sharon (Fred Ladly) and Carol (Bill Daines). Cherished grandmother to Devon, Dustin and Nigel, Sarah and Meghan, Martha, Patricia, Elizabeth and Katherine and great-grandmother to 9 Ladly children. Dear sister of Eva Downey of Almonte, sister-in-law of Hilda Davis of Almonte and Joan Davis of Ottawa; predeceased by her brothers Leighton, Guy, Eldon and Lorne Davis and sisters Carrie and Aldyth Davis, Marion Brown and Amy Barnes. Ethel will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews of the Davis and Davidson families and by her many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Sunday, July 30th, 2006 from 2 to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Monday at 10:00 A.M.
