Obituary of Ethel-Doris Williams


STRANGWAY, ETHEL DORIS (WILLIAMS) - age 95, died peacefully at Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Thursday, August 23, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Clarence (1993). Survived by sister- in-law Louise Strangway, Sarnia and cousin Jean Dunn, Sarnia. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Bert & Mary (Tennison) Williams, brother Lloyd Willams & his wife Jane and sister Irene Jones & her husband Cecil. Ethel was a long time active member of Mandaumin United Church and a life member of the Women's Missionary Society and the United Church Women. She loved making crafts for her friends and the church bazaar. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Saturday from 10:30 until noon. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday at 12 noon officiated by Rev. Jean Carruthers. Interment Wyoming Cemetery. Following the burial a reception will be held at Mandaumin United Church. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Mandaumin United Church, R.R. 1, Wyoming, NON 1T0. Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Ethel Strangway in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 16th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area. 10797204
