SMITH, ETHEL C., 89 Williston - Ethel C. Smith passed away on October 18, 2006 at her daughter's home in Williston. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Smith came to Williston in 1955 from Palatka, FL. She was a housewife and mother of four. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Smith, daughter, Barbara Jean Smith and son, Charles Smith. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Ben Munden of Williston, son James A. Smith and daughter-in-law, Ann of Belleview, FL, sister, Voncille (Ethan) Porter of Fort White, FL, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Haven Hospice, Chiefland, FL. Service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, FL. Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2006, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at KNAUFF FUNERAL HOME in Williston, FL.
