Esther L. Hall, 94, of Oakmont Nursing Center, East, died on Saturday, June 28, 2003. Born in Madison County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late James Irvin and Clara Jane Parham Hall. She worked in the weave room at Poe Mill and was a charter member of Woodside Church of God, where she also taught Sunday School.Surviving are two sisters, Jimmie Ruth Stephens, of Gainesville, Ga., and Willie Faye Boone, of Greenville; five nieces and two nephews and their families. Miss Hall was a loving and caring sister and aunt.She was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Hall Maples and Gladys Hall; and one brother, Johnny Watson Hall.A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2003, at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m.The family is at their respective homes. -- Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
