SEGUIN, Texas - Estelle E. (Richard) Griffith, 88, a longtime resident of Pembroke, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, peacefully at the home of her daughter. Estelle grew up in Suncook and worked as Pembroke's tax collector for several years. She dedicated much of her time to the Girl Scouts of America. Many will remember paying their taxes at her home on Pembroke Street. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown before moving to Texas in 2002. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, J. Connie Griffith; a son, Raymond "Skippy" Griffith; her parents, Philias and Gertrude (Welch) Richard of Suncook; and siblings, Chester Richard of Suncook, Walter Richard of Bradford, Dorothy LeClair of Pembroke, Christine Fleury of Allenstown and Eleanor Kenny of Goffstown.
