->LITCHFIELD -- Estella Mae Small Brown, 90, of the Richmond Road passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at the home of her daughter, with whom she had lived for the past nine years.She was born in Litchfield on Dec. 22, 1915, a daughter of Dennis and Mabel Purtain Small.Estella was predeceased by her husband, Winston, in Dec. 20, 2000, after 66 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Winifred Brown, on Dec. 5, 1973. Survivors include her daughters Wealthy Anne Harvey of South Portland, and Estella Georgette Partridge of Litchfield; a sister, Rossilla Small of Litchfield; and lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Estella was a member of the Litchfield Christian Community Church, the Litchfield Grange Ladies Extension, she taught the youth group, and was very active in everything in town. She loved to do crafts and her sales.A very heartwarming thanks to Hospice, family and friends, Hannaford of Sabattus Street, Pastor Dan and neighbors.A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at the family lot in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield.Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
