Ernestine Newman Williams, age 67, passed away on June 18, 2010, in Missoula, Montana. She was born October 18, 1942, to Grace Odom and Ernest Alvie Newman in Clovis, New Mexico.She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Newman; mother, Grace Newman; brothers, Alvin Newman, Doyce Newman, and Ronnie Lynn Newman; sister, Evelyn Newman, and Kenny "Ken" Williams.She is survived by Christopher Williams and wife, Shellie and children, Alexi, Eric, and Reagen, all of Missoula, Montana; Stacey Doughtery and husband, Mike and son, Devon of Eagle River, Alaska; sister, Donna and Bob Bruce of Tucumcari, New Mexico; brother, Johnny and Dianna Newman of Burleson, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.Ernestine was retired from Dr. Dan C. Trigg Hospital where she worked as a Radiological Technician for 20 years. Ernestine received a Bachelors of Science from Weber State University. Ernestine was an avid reader and enjoyed time with family and friends. She contributed to multiple charities. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.Memorial service will be held July 5, 2010, at the First Baptist Church, Tucumcari, New Mexico at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Melrose Cemetery, at 1:30 p.m.
