He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Alexander Williams. Survivors include; son: Larry Stripling, Atlanta, GA; daughters: Wilhelmina Watson, Montgomery, AL, and Jackie Stripling, Atlanta, GA. Brothers: Phillip Williams, New Orleans, LA and Clarence Williams, Bronx, NY. Sisters: Anna Bell Banks, and Dora Glenn both of McKeesport, PA, and one grandchild. Companion: Gloria Dixon, and God-daughter: Lottie Dukes, Gainesville, FL. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be 11am, Wed., June 11, 2008, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Gainesville, FL, Minister Veronica Alexander, officiating; burial will follow at Daysville Cemetery, Gainesville, FL.
