AUSTIN - SMITH, ERNEST MARVIN, 84, passed away Thursday June 3, 2010 at his home. Survivors: his wife of 61 years, Patsy Ethington Smith; sons, Melvin Smith (Lori), of Scottsburg, IN and Randy Smith, of Evansville, IN; daughters, Julie Smith, of Texas and Rita Wiley (Lanny), of Austin; sister Ila Mae Cook, of Salem, IN; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was a member of the Austin First Baptist Church and a life member of the Crothersville V.F.W. Post # 1083. Visitation: Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home, and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home and after 12:30 p.m. at the Austin First Baptist Church. Funeral: Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. at The Austin First Baptist Church.
