Harding, Ernest Robert Sepetmber 10th, 1925 July 24th, 2009 It is with saddened hearts that we say goodbye to our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ernie left us peacefully with his family by his side. Ernie was born in Weyburn, SK to Ernest Harding of Bath Sommerset, England and Betsy Kennedy of Kirriemuir, Scotland. Ernie is predeceased by his parents, his sister Gladys, a special nephew Norm, Laddie and Booty (pets) Surviving is his wife of 62 years Ferne, three daughters and one son: Ruth (Denis) Bakaluk and their children, Darla (Jerzy) Pawlowski and family, Ashley and Stephanie Senger; Deanna Mcale and family, Brianna and Steven Crawford; Erna (Ken) Hemphill and family, Rick (Sheila) and Cole; Bobbi Hemphill (Dave Schmidt) and family, Jenessa and Joshua; Roger Harding and family, Robbie (Karen) Harding and family Semiah and Kasia, Chrissie (Matt) Robblee and family Dayton and Chase; Carla Harding (Jeff Tannahill) and family Chantelle (Blair) Gibson and Melissa Strauch. Special family members: Shirley and Jerry, Myrt, Marg and Ray, Lee, Scott, Barb, Pat, Ken and Dianne, Dale and Irene, and Merlin. Ernie married Ferne (Bennett) on September 12, 1946 in Plentywood, Montana. They spent many summers travelling in their Motorhome, camping, fishing. Ernie could always be found in his garden or sitting on the deck with his best friend Little laddie. Ernie's greatest joy was his family and was excited about the arrival of his great great granddaughter in November. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Knox Presbyterian Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. Rhonda Bosch officiating. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn. In lieu of flowers make donations to Palliative Care, Regina Pasqua Hospital or the Lung Association.
