OBITUARY ERIKA ANNA KOCH (NEE PETERS). August 31, 1923- July 30, 2006."The true paradises are the paradises we have lost" Marcel Proust Erika passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Lakeshore Hospital in Pointe Claire. She will be lovingly remembered by daughter Birgit, son Stephen and daughter-in-law Cheryl (Demers), sister-in-law JoAnne and granddaughters Katrina and Raek-Smei, good friends Helen Bartlett and Inge Wilken and cousins Heinz and Walter Hamann and family in Hamburg, Germany. Erika loved to sing, she had a beautiful lyric soprano and she loved her cats Muckie, Kitty and Moppel. She took in many abandoned cats over the years and found homes for the ones she could not keep. A donation to the SPCA in her memory would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the Staff and Doctors of the Lakeshore Hospital, 4 South and North and the Pierrefonds Manor for their loving care. According to her wishes there will be no formal service.
