Erik Anderson, 18, of Bridgewater, N.J. passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, in the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio, due to complications from a bone marrow transplant. He had a rare immune disorder. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Somerville, N.J. Erik is survived by his parents, Mark and Susan Anderson, sister, Kirsten and brother, Karl, all of Bridgewater. He is also survived by his grandmother, Marie Anderson of Succasunna, N.J.; grandparents, Bert and Liisa Stromholm of Pompton Plains, N.J., and many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and second cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Erik's memory to the Pediatric Hematology / Oncology department at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, N.J.
