Apache Helicopter PilotMcEWEN, Tenn. -- Warrant Officer Eric A. Martin of McEwen, Tenn., formerly of Lakeland, died Oct. 11, 2003, of injuries sustained in an auto accident in Fayette, N.C. He was 34.Born in Portland, Ore., on Nov. 13, 1968, he lived in Lakeland before moving to McEwen, Tenn. He was an Apache helicopter pilot, serving as a warrant officer in the Army. He graduated from the University of South Florida. He was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Savannah, Ga.Warrant Officer Martin is survived by his wife, Karen Martin; son, Jacob Martin, McEwen; daughter, Faith Martin, McEwen; parents, Roy and Elizabeth Martin, Lakeland; sister, Elisa Martin, Lakeland.
