Emma Jean Diel Turner, 87, Trenton, KY, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Clarksville, TN. The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Don Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery,Trenton, KY. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Latham Funeral Home. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Emma was born September 27, 1922 in Clay Co., IN the daughter of the late Dennis and Sarah Augusta Biggs Diel. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lester Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roger "Rube" Turner in 2009; two brothers, John Rittinghouse and Albert Diel. Survivors include her sons, Jim Turner of Hollywood, FL, Billy Turner and Gifford Turner both of Trenton and Sam Turner of Elkton; her daughters, Ann Washer of Clarksville, TN and Betty Lou Smith of Palmyra, TN; one brother, William Diel of Brazil, IN and one sister, Josephine Webster of Mechanicsburg, IL; 13 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be give to the Lester Chapel Presbyterian Church, C/O Turner Family, 1150 Chapel Hill Road, Trenton, KY 42286.
