<!-- FH = Jennings & Ayers, 615-893-2422 -->Emma Sue Young Bell, born August 4, 1940, passed away on December 10, 2010 in Murfreesboro. She was a native of Sparta, TN, but resided in Murfreesboro since early childhood. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay and Pearl Etta Bowen Young. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Thomas Allen Bell; brother, Roy E. (Virginia) Young; several cousins. Sue was a devoted member of Taylor's Chapel Baptist Church for almost fifty years. She touched lives for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through her teaching and her extensive knowledge of the Bible, but most of all, through her Christian love for everyone she came in contact with throughout her prayer guided life. Her vocation was devoted to the spreading of the gospel and began with Brother Thomas Bryant, serving as the first secretary for the Concord Association. Later, as the Executive Assistant for J. Gordon Henry Ministries for 19 years, her role helped further His word to be spread into 59 countries. After the ministry moved out of state, Sue continued to serve on the board of directors.Chapel service for Sue will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Jennings & Ayers with Rev. Jim Hargrove, Murray Mathis, Chaplain and Dr. J. Gordon Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers are the deacons and members of The Praying Hands Sunday School Class of Taylor's Chapel Baptist Church and the Board Members of the J Gordon Henry Ministry. Family and Friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity or the Taylor's Chapel Land Acquisition Fund.Visitation with the family will be today from 3 til 7 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon until service time 1 p.m. at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church Street, Murfreesboro, 615-893-2422 jenningsandayers.com
