Age ninety-one, of 2A Dickey St., Amherst died Monday, February 26, 2001 at home. Born in Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Thaddy and Alvina (Vienneau) Richard. She lived and worked in Montreal for fifty years. She is survived by brothers Raymond (Pat) of England, Aurele of Amherst and Rene (Colette) of Montreal, sisters Bernadette Delaney of Montreal and Irene LeBlanc of Amherst and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters Anita, Leoline, Lillian, Laura, Yvonne and Cecelia. Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst. Donations to the Cumberland Regional Library or the charity of your choice.
