Emma Mae Williams, 61, died Aug. 14, 2006, at Lawn wood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. She was born in Quitman, Ga., and lived in Fort Pierce for 46 years, coming from Georgia. She was a nurse assistant at a local hospital. She was a member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Williams Sr., of Fort Pierce; sons, Roosevelt Williams Jr. and Wilie Brown, both of Fort Pierce; father, Walter Yeraby Sr., of Port St. Lucie; brothers, Alvin Yearby, of Dayton, Pa., Lorenzo Yearby, James Yearby, Eddie Yearby and Rufus Yearby, all of Fort Pierce, and Rudolph Yearby, of Louisville, Ky.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Yearby; mother, Charlie Mae Brooks Yearby; brother, Louis Yearby; and sisters, Geneva Collins and Emily Simpson. SERVICES: Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 18 and 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 19 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel in Fort Pierce. A service will begin at 1 p.m. Aug. 19 at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
