Emma Mae Davis Emma Mae Davis, 60, a dietician for the Leon County School Board, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Tallahassee, Fla. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT April 11, 2009 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, with burial at St. Stephen Cemetery. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements.She was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Fla. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include husband, Johnny Thompson; son, Nathaniel Cookly; two daughters, Jacquline Footman and Sabrina Addison; two step-sons, Mark and Johnny Thompson; a step-daughter, Sherika Thompson; five sisters, eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and cousins.
