Emma Lee Sallee Brown, 80, of Simpsonville, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Beechridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Grace Bland Sallee and her daughter, Phyllis Jane Harrod. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Junior Brown, Simpsonville; sons, Tony Brown, Lexington; David Allen Brown (Sugie), Abingdon, MD; Richie Brown (Paula), Shelbyville; brothers, James Leeland Sallee, Chicago, Ill.; Johnnie Morris Sallee, Madisonville; sisters, Dorothy Jane Melone, Shelbyville and Eva Smith, Chicago, Ill.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Umholtz officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus or Beechridge Baptist Church.
