Emma Jean Gilbert, 83, of Shepherdsville, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Gilbert; parents, Arnold Lloyd and Erna Mae Gilbert; children, Rex Gilbert, Donna Gilbert and Denise Gilbert; and grandson, Christopher Neidlow. She is survived by her children, Roger Gilbert of Shepherdsville, Deborah (Roy) Johnston of Bensenville, Ill., Garnett (Kim) Gilbert Jr. of Chicago, Diana Gibert of Shepherdsville and Randall (Karen) Gilbert of Shepherdsville; four grandchildren. Funeral services were on Saturday, March 9, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
