ST.GERMAIN Emma J. St. Germain, age 80, of Derby entered into rest on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late George St. Germain. Mrs. St. Germain was born in Raleigh, W. Va., on Jan. 1, 1929 daughter of the late Thurman C. and Myrtle Richmond Johnson. She was a resident of Naugatuck and Bridgeport until moving to Derby 22 years ago. Mrs. St. Germain was an employee of William Ravis Mortgage Company for 10 years and later was an accountant for nine years for BTX Air Express until her retirement in 2006. She was the loving mother of Thomas St. Germain, George St. Germain and his wife, Lu Ann and Suzanne Altieri and her husband, Michael. Mrs. St. Germain was the loving grandmother of Dawn Altieri, Michele Richmond and her husband Adam, George St. Germain, Nicholas St. Germain and Jennie Humple and great grandmother of Mikayla. She is predeceased by her brothers Gregor (Jack) Johnson and Thurman (Junior) Johnson, sisters, Marge Caitlin and Lillian Carraturo. Friends may call on Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. Her funeral will leave the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Her Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery.
