ANNISTON — Services for Mrs. Emma "Boots" Harris, 72, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Anniston Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Pearl Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Anniston Funeral services in charge. The family will receive friends from 6-7 tonight at the funeral home. The body will be at the chapel until time of services. Mrs. Harris died on November 29, 2008 at Stringfellow Hospital. Survivors include ten children, Lina M. Harris-Quamina, James Harris Jr., Desilve Brown, Bill S. Harris, Antonio Harris, Earnest O. Harris, Majester L. Harris-Poyser, Faythe S. Harris, Albert L. Harris, and Selvester A. Harris; five sisters, Pearl Lowe, Laura M. Winston, Lula M. Wilson, Ester Ellison, and Alberta Hollowman; one brother, Jimmie L. Ellison and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was a Anniston native and was preceded in death by her husband James E. Harris and son Edward R. Harris.
