Emma H. Millerof Montrose, Pa.Emma H. Miller, 87, of Montrose, Pa., died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose, Pa. Born November 24, 1916 in Montrose, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Minor and Clara (Wilbur) Henry Sr. Mrs. Miller married Wayne W. Miller, who predeceased her in death in January of 1980. She was a member of the Fairdale United Methodist Church, where she was also involved in the United Methodist Women, Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher. She ran a previous Girls Club in the Fairdale Area. She also loved reading and crocheting. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Garey Thompson, Frankfort, Ky.; sons and daughter-in-law, Warren W. Miller, Montrose, Pa., Russell H. and Christine Miller, Dillon, S.C.; three grandchildren, Donna Fritts, Theresa Keplinger, Wayne M. Phillips; six great-grandsons; sisters, Ida Canfield, New Milford, Pa., Elizabeth Slater, Vestal, N.Y., nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by six brothers and four sisters.Services will be Thursday, June 10, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., a Selected Independent Funeral Home, 74 Church Street, Montrose, Pa. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
