Emma A. Richard, 86     STANDISH -- Emma A. Richard, 86, of Richards Drive, Standish, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at a South Portland nursing home. She was born in Ontario, Canada on Jan. 5, 1921, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Amiee Dusseault Gobeil. Emma attended Ontario schools and worked as a private housemaid in domestic residences. Emma and her husband, Yvon owned and operated an apartment house in Toronto. She assisted her husband and was part owner of Rich Tool & Die Company in Scarborough. Emma was a member of the Grandiflora Garden Club in Standish, Dow's Corner Cemetery Association, the Standish Historical Society, Watchic Lake Association and attended St. Anne's Church in Gorham. Emma wintered in Cape Coral, Fla., for many years.      She was predeceased by her husband and a granddaughter, Jennifer. Survivors include her son, Norman Richard of Standish and a daughter, Collette Estes of Standish; four brothers; four sisters; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.      There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Dolby & Dorr Funeral Chapel.
