Emily M. (Pina) Smith, 63, of Brockton, formerly of Hyannis, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She is survived by a daughter; Josephine T. Shanks of Brockton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Nina T. Pina and the sister of the late John Pina and Aninha T. Sylvia.
