EMILY H. SMITH Emily H. Smith, age 92, went to be with our Lord on February 1st at the Health Center of Lake City, Florida, with her loved ones by her side. Emily was born May 10, 1913 in Davidson, NC to the late Alfred and Harriett Hager, the youngest of ten children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Mack, as well as nine brothers and sisters. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Jensen Beach. Emily was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves her three children, their spouses and children to cherish wonderful memories. Surviving are daughter Betty J. Brigman (John) of Jensen Beach , son, John Smith (Nancy) of Mooresville, NC, and daughter Gwen Ward (Jerry) of Lake City, FL; five grandchildren, Richard Ward (Gina) of Jacksonville, FL, Robin Kaufman (David) of Davie FL, Ron Ward (Kelli) of Jacksonville, FL, Chris Brigman (Leidy) of Homestead, FL and Laura Smith of Mooresville, NC; eight great grandchildren, Amanda, Jarrod and Madison Ward, Kaitlyn Prom, Kyle Kaufman, Gavin Williams, Jacob and Justin Brigman along with many other family members and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her as she was an amazing and very special lady. SERVICES; Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2:00 -4:00 pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd. Jensen Beach. A service will be conducted on Monday, February 6th, 10:30 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2221 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, with Reverend Gary Beam officiating. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Emily's memory for paraments at Trinity United Methodist Church or Haven Hospice of Lake City, 618 SW Florida Gateway Drive, Lake City, FL 32024.
