Funeral for Emelyn Virginia Whitten, 88, of Decatur will be Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Cagle officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Whitten died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at her residence. She was born Feb. 1, 1917, in Panola, Ala., to George Robert Jones and Annie Mary Evans Jones. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Ann Whitten of Decatur; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
