WATERFORD Emanuela Rita Miller, 82, formerly of Craig Ave., died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Queens, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Gelsomina Baino Iacono and was a graduate of William Cullen Bryant High School. Most recently, she had resided with her son and daughter-in-law in Clifton Park. Rita was retired from the Golden Krust Bakery in Cohoes where she had been employed for many years. An avid sports fan, she especially enjoyed basketball and baseball. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford. Rita was widow of Donald H. Miller Sr. who died in January of this year. She is mother of Patricia Hoffman of Malta, Donna Wenzel and her husband Phil of Memphis, Tenn. and Donald H. Miller Jr. and his wife Karin of Clifton Park. She is sister of Jennie White of East Northport, L.I., Marie Harte of Tampa, Fla. and the late John Iacono. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kim, Kevin, Ryanne, Derek, Brandon, Jordynn, Craig and Jacob, as well as five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Center for Autistic Children in care of the funeral home office.
