JOHNSON Elvira Roberta Born December 19, 1906 in New Westminster and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 5, 2008 in Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by husband Arthur Harold Johnson and grandson Arthur Rix. She is survived by children Lloyd (Roberta) and Rheta; grandchildren Tanaya, Bonnie (Barry) and Karen (David); 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as dear friends. Elvira was a gentle, kind, artistic woman who loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Surrey Centre Cemetery at 16671 Old McLellan Road with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12 noon at the Cloverdale United Church at 17575 - 58A Avenue in Surrey.
