Elsie L. Formerly of Freeman, NY 90, died Thursday, June 14, 2001 in the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Born August 30, 1910 in Addison, NY, she was the daughter of Henry and Florence Barker Swan. She was married to H. Elwin Wright, who predeceased her in 1993. She was a graduate of Addison High School and the Del-Kader Beauty School in Elmira, NY. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Elkland, PA for many years. She was a member of the Addison Presbyterian Church, the Brookland Club and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are; a son, William L. (Gloria) Wright of Lawrenceville, PA; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, David E. Wright; and a brother, Leland Swan. Friends may call at the Collins-Olney Funeral Home, Galeton, PA on Friday, June 15, 2001 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Elkland, PA. Memorials may be made to the Green Home Activity Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
