A native of Canada, Elsie moved to Florida from Patchogue, NY in 1982. She served as a secretary for the Patchogue-Medford School District for many years before retiring. Elsie was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church and the Canada Club. She enjoyed singing, piano/organ, needlework and knitting. Elsie is survived by her sons Gordon G. Wright, P.E. of Wytheville, VA, and Douglas A. Wright, D.C. of Marion, VA, her daughter, Eleanor M. Diener of West Chester, PA, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held at Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland, FL on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Roseland United Methodist Church.
