Elsie Larson Anderson, 73, Venice, died April 30, 2005. She was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Chicago and came to Venice 17 years ago from Jamestown, N.Y. She earned a master's degree in education from the State University of New York, Fredonia, and taught in the Jamestown school system for 21 years. She was a member of the National Education Association of New York, and a member of First Covenant Church of Jamestown, serving on the Christian Education Board as a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Harold E.; a daughter, Linda A. Tufts of Pinehurst, N.C.; sons Robert of Elk Grove, Calif., William of Libertyville, Ill., and Donald of Omaha, Neb.; and seven grandchildren. Memorial services will be in Illinois.
