She was 80.Born in Scotland Neck, N.C., on Jan. 24, 1923, she came to Lakeland from Rocky Mountain, N.C., 20 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church of Rocky Mountain.Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Robert C. Davis; daughters, Lynda Davis, Lakeland, Phyllis Carol Reed, Covern, Va.; son, Ronald Charles Davis, Rocky Mountain; sister, Margie Herbert, Fort Myers; brother, William Harrell, Warrington, N.C.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Polk County, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
