THOMSON, Ga. - The funeral for Mrs. Elsie Carter of Thomson will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 12 noon at the Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church, Thomson, Rev. Ricky Battle, officiating, interment in the church cemetery. Survivors are a son, L.C. Carter of Thomson; four sisters, Carrie B. (Garney) Grissom, Mesena, Ga., Annie P. Allen, Columbus, Ohio., Rosa L. Combs., Harlem, Ga. and Verna Embry, Dearing, Ga.; brother, Charlie (Mozella) Gresham of Washington, Ga.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
