CARTER, Elsie TillieJanuary 1, 1922 - March 23, 2012It is with immense sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Elsie on March 23, 2012 at the age of 90.She will be deeply missed by daughters Irene and Lori (Derrick) and her grandchildren Kelly, Chantel, Marcel, Michelle, and great- grandson Joey. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Arthur and daughter Dee. Also by her parents Philip and Pauline, sisters Albertina and Theresia, brothers Frederick, Jacob, Fred, Carl, Phillip and Emile as well as many relatives and good friends.Elsie's greatest joy was her grandchildren. She also loved the outdoors, flowers, birds, gardening, taking pictures, sewing and participating in country fairs.Elsie touched many people's lives with her gentle soul and compassion. She will be remembered for her sincerity, honesty, politeness and kindness. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.God saw you were getting tiredand a cure was not to beSo He put His arms around youand whispered "Come to me".With tearful eyes we watched youand saw you pass away.Although we loved you dearlywe could not make you stay.A Golden heart stopped beating,hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to usHe only takes the best.
