Eloise Smith, 83, of Belgreen, Ala., died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at her residence.Mrs. Smith lived most of her life in Franklin County and attended the Baptist church. She was owner and operator of a beauty shop for more than 50 years.The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Pinkard Funeral Home chapel, Russellville, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens.Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Survivors include daughter-in-law, Patricia Smith, Belgreen, Ala.; grandchildren, Kandis Steele Long and husband, Ed, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Chris Smith and wife, June, Belgreen, Ala., Kim S. Cagle and husband, Terry, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Mandy Parrish, Chrissie Smith, Cory Steele, Kodi Cagle Shirley, Josh Cagle and Kalie Cagle; brother, Leborn Howard, Texas; sisters, Geraldine Cooley, Tuscumbia, Ala., and Earline Meek, Florence, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews; grand-nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by husband, Wayne Smith; son, John W. Smith; parents, Jim and Ludie Howard; sisters, Katie Bradford, Willie McNatt, Lenice Malski, Pauline Batchelor, Juanita Gargis and Evelyn Seal; brothers, J.W.
