Burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.Mr. Brown was retired from Pemco (Hayes Aircraft) after more than 30 years. He was a veteran of the Army and the Navy. He loved to write Christian poems and songs.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Ann Reeves; parents, Thomas Preston and Mae Sosbee Brown; and his brother, Hamilton Brown.He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lee Brown, Glencoe; grandson, Billy Kay (Stephanie) Reeves Jr., Gadsden; great-grandson, Brandon Reeves, Gadsden; sister, Helen Duncan, Gallant; niece, Gail (Joe) Chesnut, Gallant; nephew, James T. Duncan, Maryland; several great-nieces and nephews; chosen grandchildren, Jamie and Jason Duke; and chosen great-grandchildren, Dalton, Colton and Kayton Duke.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Etowah Baptist Mission Center, P.O.
