Ellen Williams Ellen Williams, 56, an administrator for the state of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Steve Williams. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at First Baptist Church, with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT Friday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191). Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308, or the American Cancer Society, 241 John Knox Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303.Ellen was born in Cottondale and was a longtime resident of Tallahassee. She graduated from Florida State University in 1972. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the Sanctuary Choir. Ellen taught Friendship Adult Bible Study Class and a Bible study class at FCI. Other survivors include two sons, Brian Williams of Raleigh, N.C., and Joel Williams of Tallahassee; her mother, Lucile Davis of Alford; three brothers, Vick Davis (and Mary) of Panama City, Bill Davis (and Anna) of Chattahoochee and Don Davis (and Kay) of the Philippines; and two sisters, Phoebe Davis of Jacksonville and Frances Melvin (and husband Kenneth) of Marianna.She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Davis, and a brother, Jim Davis.
