Graveside service for Ellen Williams Goodwin, 89, Ormond Beach, who died at home Saturday May 14, 2005, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Old Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, N.C., with the Rev. Will Jackson, Bethesda United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, 1113 W. Main St., Durham. Mrs. Goodwin was born in Granville County, N.C., to. She moved from Durham to Ormond Beach in 1993. In Durham she was a charter member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Mrs. Goodwin is survived by two sons, Thomas Jerry Goodwin and wife, Pat, Ormond Beach, and William (Bill) Arthur Goodwin, Newport, N.C.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased in 2002 by her husband of 67 years, Thomas (Tom) Goodwin, and by her parents, Crawford Coleman and Lucy F. Clark Williams.
