WILLIAMS, Ellen Sullivan, (O' Sullivan), passed into Heaven under the care of LifePath Hospice April 17, 2009. Born to Daniel and Hannah Sheehan O' Sullivan in Drinagh, County Cork, Ireland, she was one of 10 children. Ellen was educated as a registered nurse in England before she immigrated to the U.S. some 55 years ago. She lived first in Boston but for the past 45 years here in Tampa. She spent her life serving the Lord and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her only child, Daniel E. Williams, 38, her loving "Danny Boy"; her parents; six brothers; and one sister. She never forgot her Irish roots and visited her loving family there often, particularly her sister, Joan, and brother, Pat. Her Catholic faith was quiet and strong. She served St. Patrick' s Catholic Church on a daily basis by being responsible for the flowers each week. Everyone at St. Pat' s knew and loved Ellen for her kindness and devotion. Rarely did she worry about herself, but was always concerned and interested in others. She has fulfilled her destiny of becoming the sweet angel in heaven that she was with us here on earth. Family and friends will gather 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St Patrick' s Catholic Church, with burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
