Mrs. Ellen Gray, of 10 Monroe St., died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at North Greenville Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Irene Brewster.Survivors: daughters, Hattie Rosemond, Mary Freeman and Catherine G. Thompson, all of Greenville; sons, William Gray Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and Fred Gray and Curtis Charles Gray, both of Greenville; sisters, Helen Eden of Greenville, Sarah Francis of Washington, D.C., Annie Maude of Texas and Lois Bruster of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, James Bruster of Greenville; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.Funeral service: 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.The family is at 16 Vesta Drive. -- Watkins Garrett and Woods Mortuary.
