Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, September 26th, 2001, Ellen Elizabeth Smith in her 82nd year. Daughter of the late Albert and Emma Smith. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Wilkes. Dear mother of Mary (Gordon) McKinnon of Denbigh, Garnet (Alice) of Orleans, Donald (Judy) of Denbigh and Douglas (Barbara) of Orleans. Survived by 4 sisters and 3 brothers all of England. Predeceased by 1 sister and brother and granddaughter Lisa. Beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Ave. at Lorne, Renfrew, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Griffith, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment parish cemetery.
