Danielsville - Mrs. Ellen Cornelius Bennett Adams, 87, of 115 Dudley Road, Danielsville, GA died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GAMrs. Adams was born in Madison County, December 18, 1917, daughter of the late Julian and Ada Williams Bennett. She was a poultry farmer and of the Baptist faith. Her husband was the late Bennett E. Adams, who passed away December 28, 1981.Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Roger Dudley, Danielsville, GA; grandchildren and spouses, June Dudley Baker, Joy and Barry James, Lanier and Beth Dudley; great-grandchildren, Kala and Katie James, Jacob Baker; sister, Idell Short, Kannapolis, NC.He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 7 sisters.Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be at 4:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dayton Logan and Rev. Tim Peek officiating. Burial will follow in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens.The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday evening.
