Homemaker AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Ella Mae Scott, entered into rest on Saturday, February 14, 2004. Homegoing services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2004, at Friendly Church of God in Christ on 1115 Carrie Street at 1 p.m., where the Pastor Leroy James will be presiding. Eulogy will be conducted by Pastor James Reed of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott leaves to cherish in her loving memory nine children, George Scott Jr., Francine Hays, Mattie L. Scott, Curtis L. Scott, Carrie L. Seals, John A. Scott Sr., Helen M. Freeman, Carolyn L. Scott and Jacqueline Heath; one surviving brother, Nathaniel 'Nate' Lovett. On Thursday, February 19, 2004, the family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m., at Reids Funeral Home and on Friday, February 20, 2004, at Friendly C.O.G.I.C. starting at 11:30 a.m. The family will depart from 950 Hopkins St. at noon.
