ROWE Ella Mae Rowe, of Bridgeport, died on Monday, December 1, 2003, at St. Vincentjs Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Salley, S.C., Ella Mae had been a resident of Bridgeport for more than 60 years. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church while her health permitted she was active in the Missionary Ministry. He husband Andrew Rowe predeceased her. Survivors include her four sons, Percy, Harold and Larry Rowe all of Bridgeport, and Deacon Willie Rowe of Georgia; two daughters, Rosa Lee Rowe and Charlene Rowe, both of Bridgeport; a brother, Lee Mack of Washington, DC.; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003, at 12 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 477 Broad Street, with the Rev. Carl McCluster Pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in Park Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Friday from 10 to noon at the church. Mortonjs Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, are in charge of arrangements.
