IRVINE, ELLA MAE (1914-2006) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Ella Mae (Carter) Irvine on August 22, 2006 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Nursing Home. Wife of the late John Irvine. Born in Kouchibouquac on May 20, 1914, a daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Day) Carter. She is survived by a son, Leonard (Margaret) of Kitimat BC and a daughter, Annie (Michael) Donovan. Ella will also be missed by four grandchildren, Stephen, Donna, Jennifer, Jackie, two great grandchildren, Lauren and Sarah as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, John and parents, she was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Resting at Castle Funeral Home "Kings Chapel" 154 Hampton Rd. Rothesay (849-1702) with visitation on Monday August 28, 2006 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. followed by internment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
